Boston University Institute for Nonprofit Management and Leadership's Core Certificate Program

The Institute for Nonprofit Management and Leadership's Core Certificate Program provides senior nonprofit executives with the foundational skills and strong support needed to advance their careers and achieve maximum social impact in their organizationsand communities.  The Core Certificate Program is a nine-month program designed for working nonprofit executive directors and senior managers.  The program offers a unique combination of classroom sessions, small group practice seminars, and mentoring; as well as alumni support and networking opportunities.  Graduates of the program will receive a Certificate in 
 

Nonprofit Management and Leadership from Boston University.

Dickens in Lowell: Opening Weekend March 30-April 1, 2012 

Dickens in Lowell is a seven-month, bicentenary celebration of Charles Dickens (1812-1870). From March 30 to October 20, 2012, the Lowell National Historical Park, UMass Lowell and a host of Lowell's leading civic and cultural organizations  celebrate Dickens's life, his work and his travels in Lowell and America with over
75 performances, speakers, family and community programsDickens in Lowell catches this literary lion early in his brilliant career, as a young man newly famous, discovering his creative powers and his growing influence as a public figure and social reformer.
