From Mundane Foundations to Monsters, June 2 - 27

Artist Michael Miller combines found objects (wood from dismantled mills, scrap metal from abandoned lots in Lowell, and store-bought hardware) into canvas-like structures, then layers them with varnish, oil, and acrylic, alternately building up and tearing down the surface.

Art in Whistler Park
Thursday, June 3 and Thursday, June 17, 5-8pm. Artist members of the Lowell Art Association, Inc./WhistlerHouse Museum of Art are welcome to bring art to sell. No registration fee. Membership must be current to participate. New members are welcome to purchase memberships and participate as well. Art can be displayed on your own tables and easels and can be hung on the fences. In the event of rain, tables will be supplied in the Parker Gallery. Members are welcome to use their own easels as well. This event is open to the public. Email jdyment@whistlerhouse.org for a registration form.

Lowell Riverfest: Art Goes Green Saturday, June 12, (Raindate June 13) Noon - 5:00 PM.  Come to the Concord River Greenway in historic downtown Lowell for a day of education, art, music and fun!
