An experimental narrative that challenges linear time, Circuit asks the questions the audience must answer. Chilling and edgy, we wonder what it is to touch, to see, to hear, to taste, and to smell. How do we relate to the world around us, each other? What are we if we cannot trust our own senses? Ciruit was produced by Lowell filmmaker Jane-Sarah MacFarlane. Visit

"Scenes from a Parish" (2009)
Featuring a Q&A with Direcor James Rutenbeck
Filmed over four years in Lawrence, MA, by director James Rutenbeck, Scenes from a Parish follows the emotional and often trying lives of parishioners at Saint Patick Parish and their struggles with spirituality and their Catholic faith. This award-winning film played last month to audiences at the Boston International Film Festival, the Boston Museum of Fine Arts, and Boston College. Don't miss its Merrimack Valley debut! Visit
www.scenesfromaparish.com.
Tues., May 26, 7pm, Lowell National Historical Park Visitor Center. Free admission.

"Circuit" (2009)
Join us for the Lowell premiere of Boston-based filmmaker Andrew Landauro's intriguing conceptual sci-fi film.
Visit
www.whatiscircuit.com.
Tues., June 2, 7pm, Lowell National Historical Park Visitor Center. Free admission.

MRT Star of "Bad Dates" Wins Honors

Actress Elizabeth Aspenlieder, star of the one-woman hit comedy, Bad Dates, which ran at Merrimack Repertory Theatre from March 19 to April 12, 2009, took home the award for Outstanding Solo Performance at the 27th Annual Elliot Norton Awards on May 11 at Harvard University's Sanders Theatre in Cambridge. Originally produced by Shakespeare & Company in Lenox, MA, earlier this year, Bad Dates transferred to Merrimack Rep in March, where it ran for four very successful weeks and played to packed houses.
