The Economic Justice Project, part of the Lawyers' Committee for Civil Rights, has long been involved in providing free servcies for start-ups and small businesses.  Below is a schedule for their upcoming events.  Legal issues they can help you with range from choosing an appropriate entity for your business to issues concerning contracts and leases.

Upcoming Legal Clinics by the Economic Justice Project

We are writing to inform you about upcoming events the Lawyers' Committee's
Economic Justice Project is holding for small business owners in and around
the Greater Boston area.
 
March 10th- 10 AM to 12 PM at Heritage Park, Lawrence, MA
Free legal workshop outlining the legal issues small business owners should
be thinking about as they conduct their business. Attorneys from WilmerHale
LLP will discuss entity formation, contract drafting, employment law, and
other issues. This event is a collaboration with EJP, WilmerHale, and the
State Office of Minority and Women Business Assistance. To register, please

March 24th- 6:30 to 8:30 PM in the Fall River/New Bedford region (locationTBD)
Free legal clinic where attorneys from Edwards Angell Palmer & Dodge LLP
will provide one-on-one discussions with business owners about the specific
legal issues they are facing. This event is in collaboration with EAPD, the
Massachusetts Small Business Development Network, the New Bedford Area
Chamber of Commerce, the Fall River Chamber of Commerce, UMass Law School,
and EJP.
 
 
April 14th- 10 AM to 12 PM at the offices of WilmerHale LLP, Waltham, MA
Free legal workshop outlining the legal issues small business owners should
be thinking about as they conduct their business. Attorneys from WilmerHale
