John Wargo, professor of environmental policy at Yale, will discuss his new book Green Intelligence: Creating Environments That Protect Human Health.
 
This event is co-hosted by LP&CT and the Toxics Use Reduction Institute at UMass Lowell (TURI). Green Intelligence: Creating Environments That Protect Human Health will be available for purchase. This is a featured event of the Concord Festival of Authors.
 
Greenway Construction Update
CRG-paved_pathDistinct progress has been made along the Concord River Greenway in two locations, including paving and plantings along the path off Lawrence Street.  These areas are now more accessible and safer than ever for outdoor enthusiasts who enjoy being active among Lowell's scenic beauty.  Along the way, look for artistic features made from natural materials and historic wayside signage.
