City of Lights Celebration

City of Lights Celebration

Downtown Lowell Business Component

Dear Downtown Lowell Business,

On behalf of the Downtown Lowell Business Committee, I am happy to tell you that ArtWalk 2009 was a success! Thank you to all of the businesses that participated!

Now on to the next thing... For the past couple of months the DLBC has been assisting with the planning of the City of Lights Celebration taking place on Saturday, November 28th. We are very excited about this!

In an effort to get families into the Downtown Lowell businesses on this day, we are planning a stocking stuffer scavenger hunt for 300 kids!

From noon-4pm, families will be encouraged to:

1.  Pick up their stocking(s) - National Park Visitor's Center

2.  Decorate their stocking(s) - ALL Art Gallery

3.  Fill their stocking(s) - Go to area businesses to collect small items

4.  Finish - go to Brush Art Gallery to get a family photo

We'd like as many businesses as possible to participate in the 'filling' portion of the hunt!

All you need to do is:

- Purchase 300 small items for the stockings (crayons, stickers, temporary tattoos, bouncy ball, etc...)

- Have someone at your business to hand out these items

It is as easy as that!

What will you gain from participating? Exposure and increase in business! Please let us know if you plan on participating so we can include you business on our marketing materials!

If you have any questions, or would like to participate in the Stocking Stuffer scavenger hunt, please contact Danielle Bergeron at danielle@wemakeanimpact.com or 978-337-0498.

Thank you! Danielle
