DLBC News

Greater Lowell Chamber of Commerce | Downtown Lowell Business Committee

The Downtown Lowell Business Committee (DLBC) is a committee of the Greater Lowell Chamber of Commerce that focuses on the following:

·         Generating downtown foot traffic

·         Business advocacy and representation

·         Marketing and Cross-marketing

We are the sponsors of or partners on many events that occur in the Downtown Lowell area (see the back of this sheet for information).  We also look for new opportunities to draw foot traffic to the city.  We sit on many committees such as City of Lights Parade, Folk Festival, Winterfest, Halloween Bash and many other event planning committees.   The DLBC hosts Santa throughout the holiday months and is the founder of the Art Walk, Great Plates of Downtown Lowell and the Student Welcome event.  We are committed to marketing the downtown businesses whenever possible and establishing relationships that will allow us to cross-market the downtown with other organizations.

Who is the DLBC?
