Pollard Memorial Library:   Lecture, Thursday December 3 from 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM. The Coconut Grove Fire, November 28, 1942, which killed nearly 500 people, led to major changes in fire and safety codes and manslaughter law as well as innovations in burn treatments and post-traumatic shock therapy. Join Stephanie Schorow as she discusses the impact of this fire and the 1872 Great Fire of Boston and their lingering mysteries. QUILT OF PERSONALITY:  Community Teamwork Inc., The Artship Enterprise, and students from The Robinson School team up to create a collection of fresh, unique and hand sewn quilts made from old t-shirts, jeans and fabric remnants.  Each quilt is inspired by the artist's own personality and viewpoint.
