Saturday, September 26th and Sunday, September 27th

Including more than 140 studios open from noon-5pm both days and a dozen performers throughout downtown. Saturday's Block Party headlined by Ameranouche!

Dear Lowell Arts Supporters,

Please join us for the 9th annual Lowell Open Studios and brand new Arts Festival this weekend, September 25th-27th!

New this year: acoustic acts will be featured in downtown galleries and entertain audiences as they move between studios. Well-known local vocalists, The Gentlemen Songsters, will rove the streets, serenading art lovers Saturday afternoon. Family activities will include face-painting, chalk art with the Revolving Museum, and balloon art in the Market Mills courtyard.

Lowell Open Studios and Arts Festival Schedule

Friday 6:30-8:30

Kick off event at the Whistler House Museum of Art featuring a sneak preview of art from participating studios, light refreshments, and the folk stylings of local musicians Vika Vann and Emily Levine.

Saturday—12pm-7pm

119 Gallery, Ayer Lofts Gallery, ALL Gallery, Brush Art Gallery and Studios, and many studios at the Western Avenue studio complex will be open from 12pm-5pm.

Acoustic performances with local musicians will take place in the ALL Art Gallery, Brush Gallery and Studios, and Market Mills Courtyard. Pick up a brochure at our info table at the National Park Visitor Center Parking lot to find out about participating restaurants for a special Lowell Open Studios and Arts Festival menu discounts and special offers! 3:00-Julie Penta, Cailin Good, Dominique Mastrototoro, Kate Tsui, and Courtney Wagner, will explore the history of art and women in Lowell with a dance piece entitled "Homage"inspired by the art piece "Homage to Women" located in downtown Lowell.
