Public Matters: Empowering Lowell's Leaders is a leadership and civic engagement initiative of The Lowell Plan conducted in partnership with Lowell National Historical Park. The mission of Public Matters is to foster and enhance the knowledge and skills of leaders in Lowell, Mass.     Check out the Public Matters website and apply here.       The Department of Community Health and Sustainability at the University of Massachusetts Lowell and the Lowell Health Department are collecting information on the Lowell community's knowledge about opioid (prescription pain medication) abuse. By volunteering to complete a brief survey, you will be providing information that will strengthen our research.
