LOWELL CULTURAL COUNCIL SEEKS FUNDING PROPOSALS

Grant applications for community-oriented arts, humanities, and interpretive science projects due October 15, 2011

The Lowell Cultural Council has set an October 15th deadline for organizations, schools and individuals to apply for grants that support local arts & culture activities. These grants can support a wide variety of artistic projects and activities in Lowell, including exhibits, festivals, short-term artist residencies or performances in schools, collaborative workshops and lectures. For FY12, the Lowell Cultural Council expects to distribute over $46,000 in grants for Lowell-based cultural programs.

The Grant Writing Workshop is by RSVP only. If you plan to attend this workshop, RSVP to Suzzanne Cromwell at 978-674-1483 or scromwell@lowellma.gov by Tuesday, September 27.
