| | | | | | | | | ************************ About the Instructor
Mauricio Cordero
Mauricio Cordero studied Chen Tai Ji (Tai Chi Chuan) for six years under Master Shi Yan Jun, 34th generation of grand masters of the Shaolin Temple Monastery in Song Shan China. He also studied Shaolin Gong Fu (Kung Fu), Qin Na as well as Tai Chi Sword and Fan techniques, and was promoted to the rank of assistant to the Master.
Mauricio remains inspired by the teaching method of the Shi Yan Jun, using a traditional approach of personal development through effort, insight and experimentation where students learn the components of Tai Chi by practicing and reflecting, rather than simply observing and imitating. Mauricio is the executive director of The Revolving Museum.
