Lowell Small Business Assistance Center

The Center, in a highly competitive process, was selected as one of three Massachusetts organizations and one of only fifty-eight organizations nationally to receive a Program for Investment in Micro-Entrepreneurship grant.

This grant from the U.S. Small Business Administration will enable the Center to establish a micro loan fund to help people start new businesses or to expand their existing businesses.

The Center will be making its first loans in the Fall of 2010. The loans will be for 5 years and range between $2,000 and $10,000. The interest rate charged will be less than that charged by area banks.

We need your help in this process. In order to design micro loan products that best meet the needs of our clients, we are asking you to complete one of the following surveys.

The first survey is for those who are actively planning to start a business or who have been in business for less than 2 years:

Survey for Pre-Startups and Startups

The second survey is for those who have been in business for more than 2 years.

Survey for Established Businesses
